How This Review Was Actually Built

Every claim on this site traces back to one of three things: a round we played in the free demo, a panel we read inside the game, or a figure the developer publishes. We do not review by rewriting other people's specs. For Fish Road that meant loading the demo with its 1,000,000 virtual-credit balance, playing across all four difficulty modes, and reading the in-game rules until we could quote the exact numbers. What We Put Through The Demo

Which Sources We Trust, And In What Order

When two sources disagree, we follow a fixed order. First, the in-game panels, because those are the game telling you the truth in real time. Second, the developer's own published figures. Only after that do we look at aggregator scores, and we never take an affiliate spec sheet at face value.

That order matters here. A lot of "Fish Road" numbers online are copied from a different game or simply made up.
